Limited Summer Operations: From June 1 until the beginning of fall semester, the IRB will not review any new protocols and will only review and approve amendment requests related to personnel changes. If you have a new protocol or an amendment to an existing protocol that will require Full Board Review, the deadline to submit is April 16. If you have a new protocol or an amendment to an existing protocol classified as Exempt or Expedited the deadline to submit is May 15. The IRB will then either approve your protocol (if no revisions are necessary), or review, provide feedback, and approve your revised protocol so long as your revisions have been submitted to the IRB by June 1st.
